The workmanship is beautiful and of high quality. But the light it gives off is not bright enough and the light has a yellowish tint.

I have purchased Wuben products for a while now. I am a retired Police Officer and used to buy various torches to help with policing ! I am also a carp fisherman and travel all over Europe. The most important piece of equipment is the head torch for use at night. I have used expensive brands, fishing brands and also some of the cheaper brands, which I generally use as back up.
I saw the advert for the H4 and decided to buy one. I have a very expensive OLight head torch at the moment which is beautiful quality but has disadvantages as well.
The first thing is, this head torch is just £24 ! My expectations were not the best, but after using it, I found that it performed well and actually outperformed in power the O Light. It is very lite and everything is contained within the unit at the front. Annoyingly I thought it would have a charging port on the side, but you have to take out the lithium battery and charge it separately to the device. On the plus side if you run out of charge and don't have a charger handy, you can use normal batteries as well
You need to have a photographic memory to remember the diferent modes but I soon figured them out ! The band is a nylon strap which is adjustable and is perfectly functionable.
The light modes were good with a red light available as well. Very important for fishermen in the wild !
It is very plasticy but everything is finished well and given the price, you cant fault the value. Will take it with me on an adventure / filming trip soon and see how it performs then. Well worth the money. Well done Wuben.
